Outcome goals for this academic school year

End of Year SMARTR Outcome 

Students identified as SWD and LEP will have a 3-5% increase as measured on the Reading SOL for grades 3-6. Resulting in the gap decreasing by 3-5%. Students reading below grade level to make 1 year or more growth in reading as measured by the DRA.

Strategy 1

  • Strategic and targeted Tier I instruction coupled with intentional interventions as part of Reading Workshop in all classrooms.

Strategy 2

  • Grade level teams will identify units of study for writing instruction (Tier 1). Family Outreach to increase parent understanding of literacy instructions and practices.

 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

To increase the percentage of students scoring 500 or above on the Math SOL by 3%.

Strategy 1

  • Increase student engagement in problem solving, inquiry and design innovation solutions to overcome obstacles and improve outcomes.

 

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

Each grade level will use a Project Based Learning in a core content area.

Strategy 1

  • Teams will participate in job embedded professional development or PBL course work.

Strategy 2

  • Application of communication and collaboration skills and measure student progress on a PBL unit.
