End of Year SMARTR Outcome - Reading Focus
With a cohort focus, the percent of students in grades 3-6 passing the Reading SOL will increase 3-5% by:
3rd: *88.7% to 91.7% *baseline average of past 3 years
4th: 84.2% (unadj) to 90%
5th: 91.6% (unadj) to 94.6%
6th: 91.1% (unadj) to 94.1%
Strategy 1
- Timely meeting of Data Analysis - Dialogue in CLTs (October, January, March, June) to determine needs of students. In particular, with a focus on the following sub-groups: black, economically disadvantaged, and ELLs.
Strategy 2
- Continued focus on providing rigorous Tier 1 instruction.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome - Math Focus
With a cohort focus, the percentage pass rate of students in grades 3-6 will pass the Math SOL by an increase of 3-5%:
*3rd SOL: *92 % to 95% *baseline average of past 3 years
4th SOL: 91.3% (unadj) to 94.3%
*5th SOL: *90.3% to 93.3% *baseline average of past 3 years
6th SOL: 85.7% (unadj) to 90%
7th SOL: 100% - maintain

- Timely meeting of Data Analysis - Dialogue in CLTs (October, January, March, June) to determine needs of students. In particular, with a focus on our economically disadvantaged student subgroup.

The percentage of students in advanced math in grades 3-6 will pass advance the Math SOL with an increase of 3-5%:
3rd SOL: 81.5 % (unadj) to 86.5%
4th SOL: 94.8% (unadj) to 97.8%
*6th SOL: 78.5% (unadj) to 83.5%
7th SOL: 72.4% (unadj) to 77.4%

End of Year SMARTR Outcome - Portrait of a Graduate Focus
By the end of the school year, 80% or more of students will demonstrate proficiency as evidenced by student reflections of their use of POG Communicator and Goal directed and resilient skills as measured by county created POG rubric.

- Embed Portrait of a Graduate into our school culture.
Strategy 2
- Provide professional development in CLTs.
